Self improvement idea

04/04/2009 16:53

Here's a quick self help idea that has helped me grow a lot this last week. It comes from Jonathan Edwards: a Christian minister from the 1700s. Every night, as I fall asleep, ask myself where I could possibly have done better in any respect. I think about some pretty dumb things when I go to bed sometimes. Getting in a habit of thinking about this as I fall asleep has helped me to grow during a time of day that I didn't really use before. If you've never read anything by Jonathan Edwards, you can see all of his daily resolutions here. You can read one of the most famous sermons in American history (Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God) by clicking here. Africa Imports has plenty of more secular ideas for expanding your knowledge of African culture in our free articles here. It is Sunday though, and if you're ready for a sermon, why not read one of the most influential sermons of all time.
