Cedarwood essential oil is mined deep within the Atlas mountains in
North Africa. This rich, woody fragrance has so many therapeutic uses!
You can steam the oil in some water to get rid of bronchitis and to
relieve stress. You can also use it to treat acne, cystitis, dandruff,
and dermatitis. The oil has been used traditionally for both urinary
tract and bronchial infections, and is still employed in the traditional
medicine of the Tibetans. Its use in aromatherapy skin care extends to
eczema, fungal infections, greasy skin, and ulcers.
How do I use the essential oil? You can put a few drops of essential oil in some hot water and let it simmer on the stove to help get rid of bronchitis, colds, or coughing. If you apply it to your skin you should dilute it with a little water or a carrier ingredient like your normal lotion, aloe, or shea nut oil. For urinary tract infections just add a few drops to your bath water. To get your own cedarwood essential oil just visit the Africa Imports web site or Click Here.
