Choerene Mayamba is 11 years old. She is from the Congo. Their house was split in 2 with the March 4^th explosion. They live in the part that was not destroyed and have put up aluminum pans to cover the opening. Her father is dead, her Mom makes beer from corn to sell to make a living. Conditions are deplorable. I say it again today that the wrong people have the title “missionary” – we are not survivors, it is kids like these that are true survivors, our fellow Congolese that continue to survive day in and day out with less than minimum but have found that HE is enough.
