My decision to start a business during the pandemic was solely based on the first stimulus payment. I wanted to do something with the money besides throwing it away on things I didn't need. I was already a member of Africa Imports before the pandemic, Sales are slow but they are always slow for sole proprietor startups, but I try to keep potential customers interested in new and current African fashion trends like African Print face masks made in Africa, African Print Head Wraps, Homeware, and my latest addition, handmade shoes by Nigerian artisans.
