Sometimes even a small amount of money can make a big difference for someone. These women in Zambia work together to save and loan each other money. They work together to grow small businesses for themselves. During the coronavirus lockdowns, they have not been able to work or run their businesses the same way. This month, we were able to send about $50.00 to each of twelve different groups of these women to help during this difficult time. Two of these groups are shown here. Each of these women have families who depend on them for food and other life necessities. These women can normally take care of themselves without outside help this way. The coronavirus has made things much more difficult for people in Africa lately however.
