Wayne Kiltz

Founder of Africa Imports

Wayne founded Africa Imports in 1999 after a life-changing trip to Africa showed him that sustainable commerce, not just charity, could create lasting change. After building and selling a successful business, he dedicated himself entirely to connecting American retailers with African artisans and communities.

Under his leadership, Africa Imports has become the largest supplier of African-made products in the United States, growing steadily for over 25 years. Today, the company's mission has expanded: while many products now come from various sources, 50% of profits support African teachers, medical workers, and community leaders, plus daily meals for approximately 1,000 orphaned and disadvantaged children.

When he's not running the business, Wayne enjoys reading obscure books that almost no one else would read for fun. He and his wife, Randy, have been married for 45 years and have 16 grandchildren.
