This hand woven, hand painted korhogo cloth painting shows the nature of sub-Sahara Africa with great style and quality. Many designs available. The antelopes shown in this korhogo painting here are an omen of good fortune. In ancient times most of the Sahara desert was covered with vegetation. As time passed, and the vegetation died, the animals migrated to other areas. The antelope was one of the last animals to leave the area. To see an antelope became a sign of hope and prosperity. A great conversation piece, and beautiful wall hanging. Approx 66" x 44". Made in Ivory Coast. AC-M330
No two pieces are alike, so exact patterns vary from one piece to the next and cannot be specified.

5 Please read the description

I have purchased these many times as a retailer. They are all unique and beautiful. I feel I need to try to temper the feedback of the other two customers. The description clearly says, "No two pieces are alike, so exact patterns vary from one piece to the next and CANNOT BE SPECIFIED." I have no wish to offend the others, but they basically tried to force Africa Imports to do what they wanted in spite of the warning. I humbly suggest reading descriptions before ordering.

I was not as upset as the previous reviewer but I did order 5 korhogo prints and had to send them all back a while ago. I also requested specific designs and did not receive them. I would like to try again but I now know that I have to be very, very specific about what I want. Not knowing the options makes it more difficult to receive the correct selection. I wish that Africa Imports would treat these like other fabrics and provide photos of what is available so we could make better choices. I think this fabric would sell better if we could choose.

I would give this no stars if I could! I am beyond dissapointed!!! I specifically asked for a painting like the one pictured, wrote how nervous I was about ordering BEGGED not to be dissapointed and said if you dont have what I ask for JUST TELL ME, so I can CANCEL my order... I understand that designs differ, I asked for white with black/navy colored animals similar to the one on the site, specifically asked for no bright colors etc, my request was COMPLETELY DISREGARDED, I was sent a CREAM cloth (I Know what white is!! Ive bought enough of your white/black mudcloth to know that the cloth you sent me was CREAM with 3 brown elephants/ 2 birds and bright green grass NOTHING LIKE THE ONE PICTURED, NOT EVEN CLOSE!! I am livid!!!! Yes yes I know your typical response will be that you're sorry and you accept returns, and who is paying to send this back???? What is the purpose of the comments section when ordering if it will be completely disreguarded??? I order from you several times a month, I deserve better, I am soooo unhappy and yes, you will be hearing from me tomorrow!!
