Three ways to increase sales fast

People everywhere spend huge amounts of money to sell more products. The ‘smart money’ crowd uses proven successful techniques, whether they are spending big money on super bowl advertisements; or talking to someone one on one. Below is a list of the three basic rules that these people and companies follow. If you want to keep your sales and income moving up, you should follow these rules too. The best thing about applying these rules is that many of them don’t cost any extra money to use.

1. Make things easy, fast, and simple.

People want a simple solution to their problem. They also want to see fast results, and they want those results to be easy to get.

Give customers what they want. Promote the characteristics of your product or service that are simple and easy -- and those that provide fast results. Simplicity an fast service are often more important to customers than price. Clothing that impresses others, and that make a person feel good about themselves can be worn right away for example.

Also make your buying process simple, fast and easy for EACH customer so you don't lose potential sales. For example:

· Don’t make your customers wait for delivery if you can have what they want on hand right now. Someone handing you money at the same time that you hand them the merchandise is the simplest transaction to deal with for most people.

· Offer credit card processing for as many cards as you can justify using.

· Let customers call you whenever they are ready to make a purchase.

· Offer fax in orders.

· Offer a secure server for website payments

2. Keep your customers interest at the forefront.

People love to buy things but they hate the feeling of being sold something.

How can you help your customers feel comfortable that they are making a decision themselves? First of all, target your advertising to prospects most likely to be interested in what you are selling. They won't require much persuasion to buy. Next, ask them questions about what they are looking for. This way you are recommending things to them that they want instead of things that they may think you are trying to ‘push’. Finally, do everything that you can to be sure that you have the products that your targeted customers want the most.

NOTE: Many customers for African products will immediately recognize how your merchandise can benefit them. You normally don't have to persuade them of its value. But you do have to persuade them to take immediate action and buy NOW.

3. Keep your offers as risk free as possible.

People often will not buy from you because they are afraid if they are not happy with the purchase, they will have lost their money.

One way you can eliminate that risk is to give a full guarantee. A money back guarantee with few or no conditions is one of the strongest ways to convince people that they have nothing to worry about. At Africa Imports, our guarantee reads: “If you are unhappy with your purchase for any reason at all (or even for no reason), you can return it for a full refund or exchange."

Another way to help your customers feel safer in buying from you is to give them testimonials from satisfied customers. These prove that you can deliver what you promise. The most effective testimonial describes a specific benefit your customer gained from you. For example, "The products were exactly as described; came packaged exceptionally well; and they were received two days after the order was placed…just as was promised - Jane Smith, Portland Oregon”

Spend some time today making sure that you are using each of these three ideas to promote your business.
