Aloe vera gel is an extraordinary moisturizer and acne cure. Here's some Ideas that can get you all of the benefits possible.

If you have oily skin, you know how hard it is to find a moisturizer that won’t clog your pores. Aloe vera gel is the answer. It moisturizes without using oils. Aloe vera can also heal acne blemishes without over-drying your skin.

The easiest way to use aloe vera gel is to gently wash your face with it and then rinse off with cool water. If you’d like more moisturizing, keep the gel on your face for up to 10 minutes before you rinse off. You can also try our aloe vera face wash or one of our aloe vera soaps.

If you want to leave aloe vera on overnight or for long periods, be sure to mix it with something else. On its own, aloe vera gel can be too drying. Try some of these treatments:

Moisturizing mask: Mix 4 tablespoons of aloe vera gel with 10 drops of jojoba or vitamin E oil. Another good moisturizing mask is ½ cup of aloe vera gel mixed with 2 tablespoons of honey.

Acne face mask: mix equal parts of aloe vera gel and lemon juice. Apply to areas with breakouts and leave on overnight.

Acne spot treatment: Combine ½ oz of acne vera gel with 6 to 12 drops of tea tree oil. Leave on pimples all day or all night.

Skin toner: Mix 2 parts of water with 1 part aloe vera gel.

Important: Store aloe vera gel and any mixtures you make in the refrigerator.
