About Leather Burkina Bag: Batik


Treat yourself to something truly unique with this Leather Burkina Bag: Batik. This bag is crafted by African artisans, weaving raffia and leather together into a beautifully designed purse you’ll be delighted to carry with you. The bags come in a variety of shapes with a cut out handle. On the front, the decoration is a mix of watercolor painting and soft, beige fabric with brown drawings of African imagery, such as drums and huts. The back is beautifully woven with raffia into a circular multicolored pattern. The front and back are both flat and sturdy, but there are flexible leather sides that expand to fit more into the bag. It includes a strap of woven raffia and leather, which lets you wear the bag over the shoulder, across the body, or in the hands via the cut out handle at the top. There is a leather latch on the back side that lets you close the bag by pulling it through the handle to the front and hooking it around a leather “bead”.

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order, so the exact cost is shown before you complete your purchase.

We don't publish a flat-rate table because real shipping costs vary significantly between a single bottle of oil and a bulk clothing order going to the same address.

Orders over $500 ship free within the continental U.S. (excluding oversized items). For international orders, shipping is calculated after your order is packed and we'll contact you with the final cost. Customer pickup is also available at our South Hackensack, NJ warehouse at no charge.

You can see your shipping costs before your order is finalized or paid for. As you go through the checkout process, you can see and choose the shipping carrier, speed of delivery, and different prices to decide what is best for you.

Returns:

You can return any item for almost any reason within 30 days of the original purchase date. However, there is a 10% restocking fee for returns made after 30 days. We do not accept returns beyond 60 days of the purchase date. Please include the invoice with your return, as returns received without proper documentation may result in delays and fees.
