What is the difference between the old edition and new edition oils?
The original manufacturer of some of our oils raised their prices by a large amount recently but we were able to find oils that are the same or better quality from different manufacturers.
We added these same oils from the new manufacturer at lower prices, and kept the original higher priced oils also with the words “OLD EDITION” added to the title of the oil.
Some customers like the new editions better, and other people like the old edition oil most. The strength and quality is the same, but there may be subtle differences in the scent.
We offer both so that you can choose the one that is best for you.
This Authentic Kenyan Hide Shield in Brown/White (Small) is a pointed oval shield covered with hair on hide in reddish brown and creamy white. The hide is laced around the edge with strips of hide, which frame the shield and hold it to the frame. On the back, the hide is stretched over a wooden frame made from sticks laid in a cross pattern and tied together, and a small loop at the top lets you hang it on the wall. Its smaller size makes it easy to fit into tighter wall spaces or group with other pieces. Because each shield is made from natural hide, the brown and white markings are different on every piece.

How to Display It:

Care:
- Dust gently with a soft dry brush or cloth
- Keep away from water and damp areas
- Keep out of direct sunlight to help prevent fading and drying

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order, so the exact cost is shown before you complete your purchase.
We don't publish a flat-rate table because real shipping costs vary significantly between a single bottle of oil and a bulk clothing order going to the same address.
Orders over $500 ship free within the continental U.S. (excluding oversized items). For international orders, shipping is calculated after your order is packed and we'll contact you with the final cost. Customer pickup is also available at our South Hackensack, NJ warehouse at no charge.
You can see your shipping costs before your order is finalized or paid for. As you go through the checkout process, you can see and choose the shipping carrier, speed of delivery, and different prices to decide what is best for you.
Returns:
You can return any item for almost any reason within 30 days of the original purchase date. However, there is a 10% restocking fee for returns made after 30 days. We do not accept returns beyond 60 days of the purchase date. Please include the invoice with your return, as returns received without proper documentation may result in delays and fees.
