Baby Dorcas Finds a Home at Moukondo Orphanage

Dorcas

At Africa Imports, a percentage of the money we make goes towards supporting the Moukondo Orphanage in Congo. We pay for the cost of meals and expenses for about 200 orphan children. Here’s what a friend of ours who works with the orphanage said when she sent us this photo. "This is Dorcas - I have sent her picture before but wanted you to see why her mother ran after giving her birth. If there is any deformity or anomaly of any kind they fear that evil spirits are in the child and that if they bring them into their home it will attract other evil spirits. Fear and superstition invade their lives without the Lord Jesus. Dorcas was literally deathly ill 2 weeks ago but is doing fine now as you can see. She is slowly putting on weight. How she loves to be cuddled!! Barb"

So this letter is not only a thank you to you, any customer of Africa Imports, for being a part of this program to help children, but it is also a request for prayer for the needs of children in Africa and around the world.
