Helping people with no access to medical care

Ferdinand (shown in the photo with the face mask) is a trained nurse. He travels to remote rural villages where people have no other medical care, and provides whatever basic help he can.

Ferdinand’s life is a real inspiration. He started doing this work with no pay at all. He once lived in a village to help people where he could not speak the language, and where people did not trust him at first. Although he did not have money to help people then, he worked every day building simple houses for old people in need who could not do physical work themselves. The people in the village were very impressed when they saw this, and he was then trusted to help them with some of their medical needs. All without being paid anything.
