About Kente Fabric #1 - 12 Yards

Connect with the culture and style of Africa
Nothing captures the vibrant African vibe quite like kente cloth. The history of African kente cloth goes back to the 12th century, when these colorful fabrics were worn by African royalty. Many people around the globe are proudly wearing kente cloth today to show their unique sense of fashion and their connection to the motherland. In addition to clothing, kente cloth prints can be used to create crafts, decorations, throw rugs, table cloths, etc. 100% cotton. Fabric produced in India.45" wide. Fabric weighs 4 oz./yard. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my order came and how reasonably priced the shipping was. The fabric seems to be of good quality and will suit our needs just fine. The prints are authentic looking and much more reasonably priced than other African fabrics I was looking at.

I had expected the blue be more prominent/vivid. There is one area with a 1 1/2yd flaw. I am dissapointed I lost the yardage, but if not for that, I am pleased with the overall purchase. Hope I can be compensated for the yard and a half some how.

Shipping:

Shipping costs are calculated automatically at checkout based on the weight, size, and destination of your order, so the exact cost is shown before you complete your purchase.

We don't publish a flat-rate table because real shipping costs vary significantly between a single bottle of oil and a bulk clothing order going to the same address.

Orders over $500 ship free within the continental U.S. (excluding oversized items). For international orders, shipping is calculated after your order is packed and we'll contact you with the final cost. Customer pickup is also available at our South Hackensack, NJ warehouse at no charge.

You can see your shipping costs before your order is finalized or paid for. As you go through the checkout process, you can see and choose the shipping carrier, speed of delivery, and different prices to decide what is best for you.

Returns:

You can return any item for almost any reason within 30 days of the original purchase date. However, there is a 10% restocking fee for returns made after 30 days. We do not accept returns beyond 60 days of the purchase date. Please include the invoice with your return, as returns received without proper documentation may result in delays and fees.
