Cleaning Schedule

Your display area can make your products either more or less valuable. You know how products look when they are in a dusty or cluttered area. It makes your products look cheap. The same products can look more desirable; and even look like a bargain; when they are displayed in a clean and organized way. Your customers also see more of what you have to offer when everything is well organized.

Make a regular schedule or routine for cleaning your displays. Some areas can be done once a week; others every day; and some areas (like around a cash register) can be cleaned every hour or less. Check for burned out light bulbs; boxes that need to be put away; and other distractions constantly. Because you will sell more, you really do get paid for cleaning things this way.
