Be Inspired

These are teachers at a school for homeless children in Zambia. There is a cost to attending the government schools. The women here are basically volunteers. They work each school day sometimes for years. Each is paid a very small amount of money for their time teaching to help cover some of their costs. But they really work every day for free using their own time and work to help some of the world’s most vulnerable children.

Africa Imports has been talking with several of the teachers shown here, and may be able to start supporting some of their work. What is powerful to be around though are these women themselves. They have plenty of real needs of their own, and are still volunteering to help with schooling that these children would not have any other way.
