Cooperating with Other Vendors

If you are like me, you want to make your African Import experience the best. I have found that working with other vendors can be a great source contact and more sales. In addition, if you are a person with a disability, the teamwork aspect can be very helpful. In your daily travel you are sure to come in contact with people who are just like you. I met this vendor who was selling artifacts and jewelry from Brazil. I mentioned to him that I sold African jewelry and it opened up a conversation that led to me asking him to be a middle man for my product and vice versa. You don’t have to be alone and the best thing I learned is that we vendors can be a community among ourselves all working for the common good. As a person with a disability, I have found creating accommodations for me is very useful when getting involved with flea market and or expos. I paid family members to help me with setups that produced some sales. You may be surprised to find how many people, including family, will help you if you offer some compensation.
