How to Use Aloe Vera Gel on Your Hair


Amazing aloe vera gel is good both for dry hair and for oily hair. It can clear up scalp problems like dandruff and make your hair stronger. Because aloe vera gel makes your scalp healthier, it can help hair grow.

How it can it be good for both dry and oily hair? Aloe vera doesn’t contain any oils, but it moisturizes and is rich in nutrients, making it good for dry, brittle hair. At the same time, it has enzymes that eat up excess oil, so it’s good for oily hair, too.

It’s easy to use aloe vera gel as a pre-shampoo treatment. Dip a cotton ball into the gel, massage it across your scalp, wait 30 minutes, and then use a mild shampoo to wash it out. 

You can also use it to make different kinds of hair masks. Apply the hair mask, cover your head with a shower cap, and wait according to instructions. Then wash out with mild shampoo.

Aloe vera mask for oily hair: Combine 3 tablespoons aloe vera gel with a few drops of lemon juice and tea tree essential oils. Apply to scalp, leave in 20 minutes.

Aloe vera mask for dry scalp: Combine 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel, 1 tablespoon olive or coconut oil, and 2 tablespoons honey. Apply to hair and scalp; leave in for at least 30 minutes.

Aloe vera and egg mask for dry scalp: Combine 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel and one beaten egg. Apply to scalp; leave in for 30 minutes.

Deep-conditioning mask for dry hair: Mix 2 tablespoons aloe vera gel with 3 tablespoons of coconut oil. Leave in for 30 minutes to an hour.
