Learning new skills during a difficult time of life

Lengwe is a single mother who has not been able to go to school. She is being taught sewing skills by other women in a program paid for by your purchases at Africa Imports. Through her hard work and commitment, Lengwe is now able to earn a small amount of money, with hopes of earning enough for her new small family soon. She has also able to overcome feelings of inferiority as she becomes a more productive and respected part of her community.
