I have two African businesses: Distinctive Motherland Jewels and DMJ’s African Boutique.

Often, I will post pictures or videos of my inventory and invoice customers when they express interest in purchasing something. Now and then, I will go live on Facebook to demonstrate what I have and have live conversations with interested buyers. Not only that, but I do also go and vend at public events sometimes.

Although my methods have been successful, my two businesses will improve more if I interact more with my customers. Being interactive means going live on Facebook more often. Stock photos do not always do the products justice. I might need to consider having a party where people can come and shop with me as well.
