Here is a story of one of the orphan children in an orphanage that Africa Imports supports in Congo. This was sent to us from Congo by a woman who helps buy supplies for the orphanage. This is Trissica. She cannot remember anything but the orphanage. She has heard that her mother died and the family said that her father had poisoned her. Her father's life was threatened so he ran. She has heard that she was the oldest of 3 children. None of the family wanted her but her 2 younger siblings went to a distant family member in Pointe Noire, the second largest city in Congo. She has heard her father is still alive but she does not know. She always has such a beautiful smile.
