Moukondo Orphanage in Congo Provides Shelter for Abused Children

At Africa Imports, a percentage of the money we make goes towards supporting the Moukondo Orphanage in Congo. We pay for the cost of meals and expenses for about 200 orphan children. Here’s what a friend of ours who works with the orphanage said when she sent us this photo. "To the left is Bienvenue and to the right is Gabriel. They are both mentally handicapped - this year they are attending a school for the handicapped and their improvement is remarkable. I plan to visit the school to see their facilities. I would like to see how well equipped they are and if they have needs for feeding these students. I will let you know - Thank YOU for being a part in feeding some of the weakest and most vulnerable. Bienvenue was being used sexually by family members. Gabriel was left by his family when they feared he had evil spirits in him." 

So this letter is not only a thank you to you, any customer of Africa Imports, for being a part of this program to help children, but it is also a request for prayer for the needs of children in Africa and around the world.
