Celebrating Independence Day in Uganda - October 9th

Today is Independence Day in Uganda, so in honor of the country here are some interesting facts about the country: 

- 11% of the worlds birds are in Uganda (It is the country with the most birds in the world) 

- Bicycles are the main type of transportation in most towns of Uganda 

- Uganda together with its neighbor Rwanda are the only countries with Mountain Gorillas 

- Life expectancy in Uganda is 42 years.

 - Only 42% of the population have access to safe water.
