Teachers in Zambia

The four teachers shown here normally all work as volunteers. They teach street children and orphans who have no other way to pay for schooling. Different people in their community sometimes give a gift to help with their expenses, but with the coronavirus closing schools and most of the economy where they live, they were all left without any money to live on. Africa Imports was able to send each of these teachers a gift of enough money to buy food and basic needs for several weeks during the crisis. They sent this photo of them all together in one of the school classrooms to say thank you.
